NAVFAC – Hurricane Response, Repair Water and Sewer Lines, Earle Naval Weapon Station, Leonardo, NJ

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, COASTAL took swift action at the Earle Naval Weapon Station in Leonardo, New Jersey, to ensure the continuity of critical naval operations. Our mission was to replace 10,000 feet of damaged potable water and sanitary sewer lines, alongside clearing debris from a key ordinance trestle and piers.

Adopting a fast-track design-build approach, our dedicated team worked around the clock to get these essential utilities back online within just 7 days, completing the entire project in under 20 days. This rapid response was crucial in restoring vital operations for the U.S. Navy fleet, demonstrating our commitment to resilience and operational readiness in the face of a natural disaster.
