NYC Department of Environmental Protection – Hurricane Sandy Rapid Repairs Asbestos Abatement, NY
Under a NYC Rapid Repairs program launched by Mayor Bloomberg in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, performed rapid repairs and asbestos removal to affected boilers and pipe insulation, so that heat and hot water could be restored to a building in Brooklyn, New York that was impacted by the storm promptly. Abatement of over 60 homes was completed within a 35 day period in order to assist residential property owners in their goal of getting back to their Pre-Sandy lives.
