USACE Omaha District – 6649 POL Operations Building Renovations and Upgrades, Barksdale AFB, Bossier Parish, LA

Our team at COASTAL has successfully completed the demolition of Building 6649 at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier Parish, Louisiana in preparation for a total building renovation. This project involved the complete interior demolition and removal of outdated components, including walls, flooring, ceilings, doors, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, lighting, and the HVAC system, along with all associated utilities.

We efficiently managed the demolition process, ensuring that construction debris was carefully sorted for recycling, with scrap metal transported to a local recycling facility. This approach not only streamlined the renovation, but also contributed to our commitment to the environmental and energy savings.
